Finding employment in Spain is not as difficult as one would imagine. There are always jobs advertised in the local English language newspapers, and Spanish bars and shops recruit by placing adverts in their windows.

One of the biggest employment opportunities in the region at the moment is within the property sector and related industries such as furnishing, gardening and air-conditioning.

Some knowledge of the Spanish language is advantageous when applying for a job, but is not always completely necessary depending on the type of work.
