There are two ways for you to make money from your Spanish property purchase. As the areas of Spain that we deal in are developing quite quickly, there is a very large scope for capital growth. Even those clients that mortgage their properties find that they have a significant amount of equity after a couple of years, particularly where off-plan properties are concerned.

The other way to make money from your investment is from rental income. Some clients like to ensure a steady income by letting out their property long-term. This way they know exactly how much income they can expect each month. Other clients prefer to use their property as a holiday home, and to allow their friends and family to use it too, so for these clients, short-term letting is a more viable option. The income stream is not as steady as with long-term lets, but it is possible to command a greater weekly rental.
